Terms of Service

Welcome to RecWerks. By creating an account, checking the agreement box at sign-up, or using the RecWerks Studio platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

RecWerks is an AI-assisted product engineering studio. It generates engineering specifications, technical diagrams, 3D prototype models, bills of materials, analysis results and manufacturing documentation from product concepts and reference photos you provide. Output files are provided in common CAD exchange formats (such as STEP, IGES, STL and DXF).

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on the plan you select) through our payment provider. Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. Plan limits (such as the number of engineering packages per month on the Free plan) are described on the pricing page and may change with notice.

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from the Membership page, or by asking the in-app AI assistant. Cancellation turns off auto-renewal: you keep access to paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your account returns to the Free plan. Amounts already paid for the current period are not refundable except where required by law.

You may not use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful; to reverse-engineer the platform; to probe or breach security controls; or to resell access without written permission. You remain solely responsible for the products you design and for verifying the engineering suitability of any output.

You own the product concepts you submit and the design packages generated from them, and you may use them commercially. All projects created in your account — including specifications, models, diagrams, bills of materials and export files — are and remain the exclusive property of you, the customer. They are not the property of RecWerks or its affiliates. RecWerks does not sell your projects, and we do not sell or have access to your company's personal information beyond what is strictly required to operate the Service. RecWerks retains all rights in the platform, its software, models and brand. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate the Service.

Engineering output is generated with AI assistance and may contain errors or omissions. It does not constitute professional engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for review by a qualified engineer. Always validate designs, dimensions, materials and safety-critical details before manufacturing.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecWerks is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
